Former Colts CB Isaiah Rodgers Sr. Joins Eagles Roster
Former Indianapolis Colts cornerback Isaiah Rodgers Sr. has signed with the Philadelphia Eagles, following his indefinite suspension for gambling violations. The Eagles released Rodgers Sr. after the league completed their investigation and punishment. Despite former Colts defensive backs coach Jonathan Gannon no longer being with the Eagles, Rodgers Sr. will have familiarity with head coach Nick Sirianni, as they were together in their rookie season with the Colts. Rodgers Sr. will spend the 2023 season on the reserve/suspended list and can apply for reinstatement after the regular season. He now has a chance for redemption with the Eagles.
