Colts reject Dolphins’ trade offer for Jonathan Taylor, two other teams in the running

Dolphins’ Trade Offer for Jonathan Taylor Rejected by Colts; Two Other Teams Still in the Running

The Indianapolis Colts have rejected a trade offer from the Miami Dolphins for running back Jonathan Taylor. The Dolphins are still negotiating with the Colts but face competition from the Denver Broncos and Chicago Bears, who have also expressed interest in Taylor. The Colts are seeking a first-round pick or a similar package of picks in exchange for Taylor, but so far, no team has met their asking price. The Colts have given Taylor until Tuesday to find a suitable trade partner, otherwise, he will be placed on the reserve-PUP list and ineligible to play for the first four weeks of the regular season. Taylor is coming off an injury-plagued season but had a standout year in 2021 and is entering the final year of his rookie contract.
