Red Raiders dominate in season opener

T. Wingate Andrews had a strong offensive performance in their first game of the season with transfer Devin Hackstall as quarterback. Hackstall threw for 154 yards and two touchdowns before being replaced in the third quarter. The team had a balanced attack, gaining 273 yards on the ground and 205 through the air. Correy McManus led the rushing attack with 111 yards and two touchdowns. The team dominated Bartlett Yancey to win the game 46-18. Coach Mitchell Jenkins was pleased with the performance and believes the passing game will continue to improve.
