We’ve reached the section of the NFL calendar where there simply is not much happening around the league at the moment. So a shout-out goes to Ja’Marr Chase and Travis Kelce, whose passive trash talk regarding their respective QBs is helping fans pass the time. It began when Chase was asked who the best QB in the league was, to which he answered, “Joe Burrow. That’s easy,” followed by him saying, “Pat who?” when Mahomes was brought up during the interview. Kelce was not just going to let that pass, saying, “Shoutout to Ja’Marr Chase for holding it down for his QB, but don’t you ever disrespect Pat Mahomes now. If you want to talk your s—, talk your —, pimp. Just better back it up.” Both sides will indeed have a chance to back up their trash talk as the two teams meet in Week 17 and, if things go right for both squads, again a few weeks later in the playoffs. But for now, we’ll just have to settle for the two sides trading barbs through social media.
Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. Mahomes led the NFL in TD passes in 2022, the second time he’s done that in his career. So with that in mind, how many of the NFL leaders in touchdown passes since the NFL-AFL merger in 1970 can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
