Report: Steelers in talks with Aaron Rodgers, potential deal on the horizon
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers is visiting the Pittsburgh Steelers and a deal may be forthcoming, according to reports. The New York Jets released Rodgers, making him a free agent for the first time in his career. The Steelers only have Mason Rudolph and Skylar Thompson on their roster. Russell Wilson is a free agent and could return to Pittsburgh. Wilson and Rodgers have also been linked to the New York Giants. Justin Fields, who was backup to Wilson last season, joined the Jets. Rodgers, 41, is considering offers from the Steelers and Giants after the Vikings withdrew. He had a successful season in 2024 despite a previous injury.
