T.J. Hockenson on PUP list as Vikings start camp, rehabbing from ACL surgery
Minnesota Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson, recovering from a torn ACL and MCL in his right knee, was placed on the physically unable to perform list for training camp. Coach Kevin O’Connell said Hockenson is ahead of schedule in his recovery. The team is taking a cautious approach to ensure Hockenson is fully healed before his return. Other players sidelined at the start of camp include cornerback NaJee Thompson and running back DeWayne McBride. Hockenson is a key player for the Vikings and had a successful season last year. The team is prioritizing his recovery to ensure his long-term success.
